Artist Statement:

I am an acrylic artist whose work reflects my love for life around Tucson. The floral, wildlife and scenery of the Sonoran desert are topics which continually inspire me. I also enjoy painting portraits that have to do with the cultures of our city. Together, all these elements make my art unique, whimsical and interesting.

My style of painting is mostly realistic but sometimes I combine the brush and pallet knife because this blending of softness and richness allows me to achieve an impressionistic feel to my painting that is unusual and refreshing.
